Altera
Altera is a family of silicone molds that enables the user to materialize edible objects. 

This project seeks to move away from the conception of food as a cold and robotic action. Providing a tool that encourages the user to create and explore edible materials, fillings, flavours and textures. Using these moulds as a creative tool, the aim is to re-educate the user's vision of food and its interactions with food.


The moulds would be made in food-grade silicone, a flexible and versatile material that is resistant to extreme temperatures. Allowing the mould to be baked or frozen, it can be used with a wide variety of edible materials.
